Moose Wings WednesdaysDid you hear about the story of how Moose Wings got to our lodge?  The legend has it that George got hungry one day while sipping his beer in the Social Quarter’s.  There wasn’t much to eat that day that he hadn’t already had many times before.  So, he went on a mission to find something that was new and unique to eat.  So, he went trudging across the social quarters, out the front door, across the tundra, mile after mile, in search of whatever he could find.  He came across all manner of winged creatures.  He found a winged flying squirrel.  This was too small to satisfy and not very tasty.  He found winged flying elephants.  This would be just too hard to cook and clean up would be a huge chore!   He then overheard some local Patawomeck Indians talk about a mysterious winged moose!  He thought this might just satisfy his taste buds!  The rest of the story is history!

Our lodge has Moose Wings each Wednesday!  Our Moose Wings come naked as a jaybird or sauced.  You have your choice of delicious sauces like Mild Moose, Hot Moose,Teriyaki, Spicy Teriyaki, Lemon pepper, Butter garlic, Honey mustard, Barbecue sauces.

Now, that George is on a vacation from churning out great Moose Wings, Harry and Michelle have picked up the slack!  We invite you to come on down and try some great Moose Wings this Wednesday!  Some of you still seem skeptical; do you know what you get for your money?  For six dollars, you get one dozen Moose Wings, choice of Blue Cheese or Ranch dressing, carrots and celery.  If you pair that with a great American lager, a glass of wine, or maybe a Coke, you will have quite a meal!  We hope to see you down at the lodge this Wednesday for some great Moose Wings!  Oh, and please thank Harry and Michelle for making wings on Wednesdays.  Their volunteering is making this happen!
