One of the basic precepts of the Loyal Order of Moose is that "no institution that labors for self and self alone can remain great and mighty, and serve posterity."
To our dear members, co-workers, and friends, I am writing today to tell you of a loss to our Centreville Moose lodge. Saturday, March 13, 2010, Eric Larsen a member of many years died of a long continuing illness. There are never the right words to express how deeply we hurt, when a member dies. Eric will be truly missed by everyone who knew him no matter where they crossed his path in life.
Eric’s funeral will be held in Front Royal Virginia at the Maddox Funeral Home. The viewing will be held on Tuesday March, 16, 2010 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A special Moose “Tribute of Service” will be held on Tuesday at 8:00pm for those wishing to attend.
His friendship meant the world to many here at our lodge. Memories of our times together regardless of where we where or what we were doing will be forever held dear to us. May our memories bring you comfort in the days ahead.
