I want to thank all the members for their continued support of this lodge.  We are doing well for this time of year.  The lodge is ranked seventeenth out of the ninety four lodges in the state.  We are also ranked fifth out of the twelve lodges in District 4.  Our lodge quota for this year is 60 new members.  We have currently signed up 19 new members.  We are currently at 31.67 percent of quota.  Keep up the great work of signing up new members.

I want to take a moment and tell you about the new campaign “THE TIME IS NOW!” that Moose International enacted at this last convention in July.  As a Moose member, if you sign up two new members in any year going forward, your dues for that next year are paid for by Moose International.  You heard that right.  Sign up two new members and your yearly dues are zero!  So, go sign up your two new members now!  What are you waiting for?

The District #4 meeting is to be held on September 18, 2010 at the Stafford Moose Lodge. It will be the same day as our WOTM Shrimp Feast.  Harloe Brewster has volunteered the use of his mobile home to take members (while space is available) to and from the meeting.  If you wish to attend the meeting via the Brewster express please see me at the lodge.  To anyone riding with us, please be at the lodge no later than 9 am on September 18, 2010.
