Another benefit of membership is discount prescription benefits. Now, we know most of you have insurance coverage for prescriptions! But, there are a select few that don't have any prescription coverage. This benefit is not a prescription insurance.
There may come a time in your future that you might need this service. The benefit is useful. You may only get a few dollars off of your prescription, but it could be a lot more too!
The Moose International Prescription discount card offers the lowest price on prescription drugs, with savings up to 50% and more off the regular retail price on generic drugs, and up to 15% on brand name prescriptions. There is nearly 65,000 participating pharmacies and includes most major chains and thousands of local independent pharmacies in all 50 states. You need to ask if the pharmacy accepts and honors the Scrip Solutions card.
In Person Savings: Our members can access their discounts by presenting their Moose Membership Card, Script Solutions Card and prescription to a participating pharmacy. Now, the pharmacy will determine your discounted price on the prescription that your doctor ordered for you. The pharmacy compares the submitted pharmacy price with the discounted price, determines which is lower and that is the price you pay. Another unique feature of this discount program is the "less of the two" adjustment. This means that if the store sale price is lower than the discounted price, you pay the lowest price possible for your prescription. Now, sales prices change all the time so your prescription may change each time you fill your prescription.
There is one restriction on the card. You cannot use it in conjunction with insurance or any other discount card at the same time. You can use the card in place of your insurance if the card gives you a cheaper price and you can use it to purchase prescriptions that aren’t covered by your insurance program.
