On Saturday, November 19, 2011, the Centreville Moose held another invitational Free Texas Hold'em Moose Poker Classic final tournament. The day started with 48 players. The tables were all set up with cards counted into suits, table numbers were on display, and comfortable chairs were ready for a full day of poker. A fantastic buffet of food was available for the players. Thanks to all the ladies who put on the amazing spread of food. For the players, this day, we had a full Thanksgiving menu complete with cranberry sauce! Poker play started promptly at 4 pm and continued until well after 10 pm. In the end, it was up to two players, Wendy Barboza and Kevin Phillips. Wendy won the day. The last hand of the game came during the $30,000/$60,000 blind level. Congratulations to all that made it to the final table. The next Free Texas Hold’Em poker series has already started. We look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday, Friday or Sunday’s games. This tournament is free for all members and qualified guests.
