One of the basic precepts of the Loyal Order of Moose is that "no institution that labors for self and self alone can remain great and mighty, and serve posterity."
Our qualifier tournaments have yielded the crème of the crop of talented Texas Hold’em players. Now, it is time for the big Moose Poker Classic tournament! On Saturday November 19, 2011, we will be holding our Moose Poker Classic tournament. Registration starts at 3:00 pm. We will have a buffet for all that choose to participate, and anyone who buys the buffet will receive $2,000 dollars in additional chips. Moose Membership cards will be checked at the door before play!
No chip cards will be accepted for this tournament. Anyone bringing food or jackets will receive chip cards that can be redeemed for extra chips during regular qualifier tournaments.
Tournament play starts approximately at 4:00 pm:
First three blinds will be one half hour in length
First, break for ten minutes
Next three blinds will be twenty minutes in length
Second, break for ten minutes
Remaining blind levels will be fifteen minutes until the final table
Final table blind levels will be twelve minutes in length

A sit-and-go tournament with prizes will be available to anyone who wants to play. The sit-and-go will begin when the first eight people sign up (including alternates that did not play in the tournament).
