One of the basic precepts of the Loyal Order of Moose is that "no institution that labors for self and self alone can remain great and mighty, and serve posterity."
I just love being Membership Chairman in our lodge. The support from our members is overwhelming. Centreville Moose Lodge # 2168 is definitely creating some interest. We have made our Quota/Goal for 2010-2011. Congratulations to the guys listed below for making that happen. We have 32 of our members that have signed at least one member under this campaign. To date, our lodge has signed 91 new members, which puts us in second place in the State of Virginia. We are also in second place on percentage of quota/goal made. The great thing about this is that we still have 6 months to pass last year’s goal. It appears we should be able to make that happen. If we sign up 12 members each month, we will have surpassed last year’s totally awesome results.

I having been receiving reports from our members that they have received the following gifts for signing new members:
Moose CSI Lynx pocket knife
Pin Radio
Deluxe paring Knife set
This is what makes our lodge one of the best in the Fraternity. The men with the asterisks have signed up new members for the very first time. Please thank them for supporting our lodge . Please keep in mind if you sign up 2 new members, Moose International will pay your dues for 2011-2012. We have 11 men that need to sign one more member. For those that look at the members board at the lodge, the number in the very first column is the number of members you have signed up since becoming a member of this fine organization.
Congratulations goes out to Luther Hodges for signing up 25 members this year. He has received his letter from William B. Airey for the Circle of Distinction award. For the men that don't know, Loyal Order of Moose was founded in 1888 in Louisville, Kentucky; it was re-organized in 1906 under Sen. James L. Davis.
