Sr. Regent Message

Sr. Regent MessageI would like to thank all of the chapter members who elected me as your new Senior Regent.  This is a great honor as this is the most important position in the chapter and I feel honored that you have entrusted me with this position for the coming year.  I feel blessed with the fact that part of the new board of officers is returning once again as Hannah Hoover is now your Jr Graduate Regent, Mary Amsden is Recorder and Virginia McClung is Secretary/Treasurer.  There is a wealth of knowledge between the three of them that will be available for the newer members of the board.  I am also looking forward to working with two members who have “stepped up to the plate” and accepted positions as Junior Regent, Barbara Miskimmin and Chaplain, Mary Mohr.  I am excited that we have a good group of members as your officers and am looking forward to a great year with them serving you, the member.

Hannah has moved to the Jr Graduate Regent as her second year of being an officer and with her continued support, we will do what is necessary to make sure that at the end of this new year, she receives a call card indicating that she is eligible for the next degree, College of Regents.

We have a lot of things working to start this new year and am hoping that it will be very productive.  I would like to encourage each of you to come out to our meetings which are held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 7 PM to support your chapter.  There are many ways you can do this – come to a meeting and hear of all the events that are being planned – volunteer to help when the events happen – give suggestions on different events to have.  We are always open for input from you.

Please fee free to contact any of your board of officers if you have any suggestions, news or ideas that you would like to share.

Your Senior Regent
Linda Kaye Hunter
