We are an international organization of men and women, ROOTED in the BELIEF of caring for young and old, strengthening communities and celebrating life.
As my time as Senior Regent comes to an end, I look back at all of our accomplishments. We as a team have met or exceeded all of our goals for the year! Our membership quota for the year is at 129% and that is something in which we all can be proud. We can all look back and find that it’s not just meeting or exceeding any goals, but looking back and see that friendships made were just as important.
We have had a year of good times filled with loving reminders and bad times when support from our lodge and co-workers was needed in the loss of loved ones. We also had a great year working closely with the LOOM. Both the LOOM and WOTM worked together, creating lasting memories and introducing bands back into the lodge.
Yes, a year to remember. We as a lodge continued efforts to have great Friday Night Dinners, Texas Hold’em games and tournaments, Shuffleboard Tournaments, Adopt A Spot program, Lodge Beautification, Bus trip to Atlantic City, introducing bands, and the list will continue to grow for the up coming year. All of these great events will continue in the following year, as well as, great new events.
The new board of officers for 2010/2011 includes: Linda Kaye Hunter- Senior Regent, Hannah Hoover- Junior Graduate Regent, Barbara Miskimmin- Junior Regent, Mary Moher- Chaplain, Mary Amsden- Recorder, Virginia McClung- Secretary Treasurer, Wendy Barboza-Guide. I may be stepping down as the Senior Regent, but will continue to support the incoming board as Junior Graduate Regent.
We have the greatest team of men and women working hard behind the scenes. I wish to thank each and every one of the LOOM and WOTM for their support over the last year. It is that support that will go with Linda Kaye Hunter and her coming year.
