One of the basic precepts of the Loyal Order of Moose is that "no institution that labors for self and self alone can remain great and mighty, and serve posterity."
The Website Committee has been very busy putting out content for the website and the newsletter these last two months. We managed to put out over forty-five new news articles for the website. Our articles included our lodge volunteer work, donations, food and clothing drives, and much more. Our site continues to gain unique visitors each month. The last two months showed over 1500 unique visits and 21,000 pages served.
This month marks a new start for the website committee too. Each year, the website committee makes changes based on changes within our men's and women's boards. I would like to welcome Linda Kaye and Wendy Barboza to our committee ranks. Their new enthusiasm and different views will only help make our website even better.
This year again, we have entered the Moose International 2010 best website competition. We want to say we really enjoy putting together this website for our members. We like to think we have one of the best websites in the whole Moose fraternity. We put a lot of work into this site. We hope it shows. To all that enter this competition may the best website win!
