November 14, The Centreville Moose Lodge held its 2009 – 2010 Shuffle Board Tournament. It was a fun day had by all. The turnout brought out the best the lodge had to offer. The members of the lodge had been practicing for weeks in the run up to the tournament. The tournament paired players by luck of the draw. Trophy's and prizes were given to the winners!
We started the day with a contest to see who could get the puck closest to the end of the Shuffleboard without falling off. Congratulations to Mary Mohr for getting the puck closest to the end of the board.
Congratulations to Alex George & Sue Kleinow our new 2009-2010 Shuffleboard tournament champions. Last year’s winner Linda Kaye was paired with Barbara Miskimmin and came in second place. Congratulations to the winners and all the members who participated in the tournament. We are already looking forward to next year’s shuffleboard tournament.
